Look up a place called Bloomery WV on a map, their is tons of mountain twisties around that little town. Just lookout for gravel on the road after rain storms. Also if you take rt7 west, turn left right over the mountain before the Shannendoah river, there is a very nice road that runs along the river.

Ride Safe,

Yeah the road that runs by the river off of 7 is nice, ridden it plenty of times. Halfway thru the summer though they always had patches of gravel that vdot had put down for some reason. The road before that one, that runs by Mt. Weather is alright also.

Yup Pville= purcellville.. just moved here not too long ago.. very nice area!

You should take a ride up to harpers ferry.. after you make that left turn where the big gas station is to your left right before that big bridge you will see a road that you can take that goes straight up the mountain to your left. I took that road once when I wasn't that comfortable on the turns but it was really twisty!

Hmm bloomery.. never heard of it but did a map quest on it.. its about 50 miles away.. kinda far but I'll check it out.. and yeah gravel SUCKS.. almost low sided on a road I usually take cuz of the recent rain storm we had..

Yeah we've ridden there also, believe me there's plently of backroads around with lot's of turns, you just need to explore a little bit, to your west in Jefferson, Clarke, Frederick and even Shenandoah counties are tons and tons of back roads.
