I was just thinking how most people who have bike photos from Laguna are usually on the track.

Just kidding, bikes both look awsome. Good stuff.

Your outer foot doesn't really matter as long as you can weight it.

WTF - Yokohama bridge? When they hell did they change that? I disapprove!

how long did you search for that pic?

with my luck you were just looking through soup and found it.

also, you were the one who gave me that advice, as well as some instructors that were yelling at me for not getting off the bike the first time.

Soup is correct. And you can get off the bike with that foot position (heel over the peg), don't make me go onto Soup again!!

Outer foot, dude. If it's not natural, compromising your outer foot position to maximize it's clearance in a counter situation is silly. Even during the tightest chicane you de-weight your feet for a split second while you use your thighs to move you from one side of the bike to the other. During that second you can reposition your [previously outer, now switching to inner] foot for clearance.

Saying that you need to be on the ball of your outer foot like saying you shouldn't shift gears as you brake in a straight line because you'll be turning in a second. Silly. There's a moment you can, and have to, shift your body position.

Use your feet to weight the pegs, just make sure your foot is enough out of the way that it doesn't drag. Use your legs to move your around.
