Has anyone bought the one that honda offers for the fit? I wanna see how it looks or sounds, is it worth the 380 bucks?

don't just weld a muffler on, it'll sound like ****, buy a system thats been engineered. RS*R sounds **** when you get on it

Deff not true. It depends on the muffler. And all those exhaust companys did the same thing. Mocked up bigger piping to a resonator they found, then slapped on a muffler.

Getting a muffler welded onto the stock piping is the same as an axle-back

And as for the HFP muffler. Its ugly and doesnt make much sound.
Not worth it.

exactly dude.

it's the motor and the muffler/resonator that makes the sound. not the bends in the pipe LOL.</TD></TR></TABLE>

well thats technically not true, bends in the pipe can and do change the acoustics of the exhaust, only it isnt too noticeable with typical angled bends.. but thats OT.

to the OP id just make my own axel-baxk and call it a day

ebay is cheap. cherry bomb has been doing this for decades. their product is tried and trued.

btw. a cherrybomb "muffler" isn't a muffler. it's a resonator. so, in fact, my fit has 2 resonators, and no muffler</TD></TR></TABLE>

Is that supposed to make you cool? Let it go

The OEM one will make it a bit louder, but nothing like a aftermarket would sound like. Looks pretty clean too.
