I found a honda fit 2008 for $4000.00 but it has 168k miles on it all maintenance is up to date body is in good shape has a clean title and no frame damage or rust. I'm kind of iffy about the millage. Help anyone that knows alot about hondas

There are several people around with double that mileage so if it turns out to have been kept up to date on the maintenance go for it.

check and make sure the valves have been adjusted.

Pete91, I just passed 250,000 miles last week. I expect my 2007 GD3 to surpass 500K. My Fit replaced the 1986 Accord that had 317,647 miles on the clock when I sold it. I didn't take the best care of that Accord either. For example, I only added oil when the oil light came on. I only recall changing the transmission fluid, and antifreeze on two occasions. Basically, if it wasn't broke, I didn't do anything for it.
Because of that experience, I have become a real fan of Honda.
To answer your question, I think you have a good deal there. Hopefully that car was driven in a normal manner.
