Turbo w/ stock crankshaft
Hi, i am new to the honda/acura scene and i recently bought a b20z2 non-vtec. what i was hoping to find out is, can i run boost on a OEM crankshaft if i balanced and micropolished it, and potientally a B16A VTEC HEAD. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND HELP

C. Stock Honda crankshafts are good to over 1000 HP.

Micropolishing and balancing have nothing to do with boosting an engine. Is it good to do? Sure, but it really depends on its condition. As was mentioned before the crankshaft is good for over 1,000 whp as they are forged crankshafts from the factory.
However, the mono-cast sleeves are a different story... minimal detonation or high cylinder pressures will destroy the block quickly. CSS warranties their work to 400whp IIRC and may be worth the investment.
