Slight squeaky noise when turning

Slight squeaky noise when turning
Im getting a slight squeaky noise up front when turning. Its not a power steering noise but more like a bearing and tends to sound with the wheel rotation in the front.
Any idea what may be causing this? I don't have leaky boots or anything like that. My breaks are getting a little soft and will be changing them soon. Only hearing the sound when a load it put on the front wheels when turning, no noise when going straight.
This is an 2004 CRV AWD.
Thanks,
Forrest.

Re: Slight squeaky noise when turning
does it matter the direction? I had issues with the shield on the backside of the brake rotor rubbing on my passenger side when I turned the wheel full lock to the left. I beat it away from the rotor a bit with a large flathead and a hammer and fixed the problem.

No, it appears to happen when turning right or left. Hear it louder when turning left because its closer to me when driving.
I don't think its a rubbing noise though.
