Muffler bolt size
Hey guys, looking to see if anyone knows the dimensions of the muffler bolts on a 99 crv. Looking to go to Home Depot to just pick some up, called honda and they wanted 54$ which is crazy.

Re: Muffler bolt size
You didn't say sub model or 2WD or 4WD... either way I don't think there is a difference and I am too lazy to look but it's a special setup for the flex joint. If you don't do something similar with the spring the bolts either back off, wear through, or cause other parts of the exhaust to fatigue and fail. Look for yourself.

Re: Muffler bolt size
I am going to the hardware store tomorrow. If I remember I will take one of the bolts with me and give you a size. But in reality, as long as the bolts are thick enough to not slip through the flange holes and long enough to bolt together with the springs attached, you'll be all good. Just find matching nuts, put a little blue loctite, and you should be ok.
Actually, if you just want to pay me for shipping I will ship you the extras I have and you wont have to worry about it.
