Re: *Official H/T OFFROAD/LIFTED CR-V thread!*
so many different opinions and answers as to what lift kit or concept to lift a RD1...reading and reading and more reading of others who think they have the right setup, yet all had to do minor or major 'refab' work. whether the fab work is to do with the trimming of plastic in the tire well, and/or, 'fabbing' custom spacers to make the ride height to desired height, and how the comfort of the ride is....seems all to 'iffy' to me. plain and simple, lift springs or spacers to increase ride height? i'm already sold on cragar soft 8s 15x7 with 6mm or 8mm spacers, just want to know about the lifting...most comfort and stability. thank you for reading and your replies!

There is no "plain and simple." It's friggin crv - a tall civic.
It was not meant to be lifted. It was meant to be driven by your grand parents and soccer moms to the grocery store.
You'll have to make your own opinion on how you want to lift it since you've read about all the options that are available to you, but don't expect it to go without a hitch. You Will have issues, whether major or minor. If you don't want problems - leave the car stock. It's a car after all, not a truck.

This v is in the states...I'm the second owner of the car and I can assure you that it's oem I don't know how the original owner got the color but when I was doing some interior work the color is all in the inside as well...either it's oem or the original owner paid a lot for a good paint job...all in all still a good car

no way its oem. just because the jambs are painted does not mean its oem, its just a proper paint job. and its fking sweet.
