Default What can i rev at?

i got a 91 civic hatch, its a 4 speed and its an ed6. i was wondering wat i rev at, my cuz was saying that it redlines like at 5k, but i thought it was like 6500ish whose right?

i think it depends on the ecu you use.

yea i kno 4 speed sukz i wanna do a b20 swap and then later put on a b16 head but thats like next year. i got stock ecu, everything is stock.(really slow) wats the redline?

i picked up the same car a few weeks ago its a 1991 civic hatch std ed 4 speed. i had to drop a tach in it first thing before a started on the rust work but anyway it red lines at 7k for me.

It's definitely an easy way to check, but maybe not the safest on the car.
