I have a spare d16z6 vtec spool valve and vtec solenoid laying around in my garage from a 1993 Civic EX.

ya i hadn't heard of it either unless I did a search on google. Apparantly it's inside the vtec solenoid or something.

code 21 on the ecu , i have a b16a, sorry its vtec solenoid valve, spool valve, i guess ima need the whole solenoid?

yo man, i have one off of a b16, sitting in my room, i can try to post some pics of it. I got it from a friend of mine a while back when i thought mine was bad, ill let it go if you want to get it

It is not inside the solenoid.

The Spool Valve is what the Vtec Solenoid is bolted onto.

I just consider the whole thing the solenoid but I'm guessing it's the part the actual solenoid bolts onto. The part that also bolts onto the head right?
