Default Traction Bar - VS - Stock Front Crossmember

I was wondering which I should use. Right now I have the place racing front cross member and it's already bent. So I'm gonna trash it but need to know what to buy next.

I don't plan on doing much drag racing, mainly road racing. Does removing the front crossmember to replace it for a traction bar create more chassis flex? Are the front crossmembers more solid to help stiffen up the chassis? Or are the traction bars just as good?

Basically what I need to know is a traction bar a good investment if I want better suspension while going through turns or should I just stick with the stock one and just use polyurethane bushings? I would like opinions by people who have used both. Thanks.

Well my understanding of traction bars are they allow less front and rear movement of the front wheels which helps keep them in better geometry which means better traction and I would guess handling. I would PM L-CON1 as he is very willing to answer questions about traction bars and will give better insight.

i read the whole thread just now.........and correct me if I'm wrong but unless i misunderstood what they were saying the only thing i got from that thread was how to eliminate wheel hop. now i can see where that would be great for drag racing but i'm not going to be drag racing. i'm going to be doing road racing. therefore I will already have traction moving forward and will not have to worry about wheel hop as much. but what i want to know is how does it help while going into turns?

i'm going to read it again just to see if i missed that somewhere but that's what i need to know, how will it work in the corners compared to the stock unit.

Thanks for your info.
