TPS adjustment???
ok, i just got a 1st generation jdm b16 throttle body for my y8 manifold. It comes with a working tps but how do i know if the tps is set? I really don't know anything about the tps but i hear it can be set wrong, how do i know i set it up right? can it be done with basic tools?

You need a voltmeter, theres threee wires, one is 5v, one is a ground I think and one changes depending on throttle position. You need to measure the voltage on this and set it to something
I read that it was supposed to be 0.45 V but mine wouldn't go that high so I set it at 0.30 which was what the stock one was set at and it runs fine.
Hopefully someone will come on and tell you what to set it at, otherwise measure your stock one and set it at that.

i've got my b16a TB on my Y8 manifold and set the TPS at 4.5V at wide open throttle, and .5V at idle. Test this by tapping in the red wire on the three wires and move the TPS back and forth to get these values with the car off and ignition on.
