That's a bad thing get new plug wires.
If it's unused take it where you bought it for an exchange.
Beg a parts guy to sell you one if you have used them?

I think if it touches something it can mess up you electrical, I think. Or actually, instead of having current to your plug it'll probably go all over the place. Bad performance and short circuiting everything.
I'm not sure, but it sounds really risky. For 40.00 bucks, I wouldn't risk it
