Si Throttle Cable in DPFI Setup (Pic Incl.)
I looked everywhere and I couldn't find a brand new DPFI throttle cable for my 1989 hatchback. I was having problems with high idle and jerky starts due to the old cable sticking all the time. So I went to the parts store and found an aftermarket version of the SI cable made by Pioneer. I moved a bracket over to help support the new cable since it is much shorter. It is now mounted with one of the bolts holding down the IACV.
Overall, it feels 100X better than the old cable. My only concern is whether the new cable will hold up in the long run due to the tight turn it has to make. We shall see!
Figured I would take a picture while putting it back together.

I can't imagine it'll experience a shorter life, it doesn't look crimped/bent in an odd angle anywhere.
It looks good though!!
