replaced battery terminals and now no power
ok a few days ago i replaced my battery terminals. went to start my car and lost power instantly. puffs of smoke came from both terminals. battery is good battery fuse is good terminals are correct gonna check the grounds in a min. my battery is in the hatch. any other ideas before i start into it?

On the other hand, a poor/corroded connection (even inside a brand new terminal end) can "arc out" and give off a tiny *poof* of smoke when that little tiny strand of good connection is kinda burned-away because of the current that tried to pass through it.
So basically, just go through all the steps. Clean your terminals and copper wires, make sure the big fuses arent blown, and most importantly, make sure the wires are connected to the correct terminal...do this first, by the way...
