NO BATTERY POWER!!
I have a 95 honda civic and I'm not getting any battery power what so ever. Its not making any noise, no lights or anything. I have replaced the battery and the starter. It went from running fine one day to this the next! And help or advice?

Since, you have a new battery & starter, have you thought about your "ALTERNATOR". I had this happened to me before, thinking it was my battery, but it was my alternator going bad. Good luck man

Re: NO BATTERY POWER!!
Take your car to autozone/advance auto/orielly and get it tested. They will test your battery and alternator while the car is running, and will test the starter by you turning it off and then cranking it. Also, do you have any extra aftermarket wiring on your battery? I had a voltage stabilizer on mine, and for 6 months it gave me no problems, then one morning I had absolutely no power. Nothing. No headlights, no nothing. I push started it to get to work. It turns out the voltage stabilizer was shorting the battery and drained it somehow. I bought a new battery, and a new alternator is next on my list (the thing is old as ***** and squeals on startup, along with occasional unsteady voltage)

Re: NO BATTERY POWER!!
What brand of voltage stabilizer do you have? I bought mine on ebay. I eventually ended up removing it from the car, but left all the extra grounding wires in just for good measure - they make excellent safe jump start locations, almost as good as the negative cable itself.

OP, if you are going to mess with those, at least get the Buddy Club racing spec condenser that is tailored to your car.

Re: NO BATTERY POWER!!
I just had my mechanic remove the volt. Stab., im unsure of the brand And he says my battery is fully charged and the car cranks right up...only thing left is to check the alternator. Thanks for all of the help and advice!

Re: NO BATTERY POWER!!
I'm guessing you weren't the one who put it on, am I correct? Voltage stabilizers are not hard to remove at all. You just remove the wires connected to the battery.

Re: NO BATTERY POWER!!
No I didn't put it on but what I found was that my external brake lights won't turn off...they are constantly on even when the rest of my lights are off and the car is off.
