obd0 b16a CRX vacuum diagram/pics HELP ME!
alright, I'm about at my wits end with figuring out this idle problem.
My car idles at 2500 rpms, and is driving me nuts.
I've tried just about all i can think of to fix it, and I need to see if my vacuum lines are correct or if that might be the problem.
so if you have a good engine bay shot of your swapped ef/crx with a 1st gen b16a, please post it up and the bigger the pic the better as far as I'm concerned.
here is a pic of my lines right now:
ignore the yellow, i will be replacing them, but I guess they do help with identifying the vacuum lines

Cap all that **** off.
Run a vacuum hose from the MAP sensor to the throttlebody, and one for the FPR to the back of the manifold. Done.

couldnt have said it better myself.
take all that BS metal hoses BS outta there. all you really need is the map. just take the map from its bracket via the 2 screws. unplug the other BS that goes to the 2 black cylinders . leave that hanging and secure the map somewhere. thats it. all you need is a vaccuum line going from the map to the spot on the TB . thats it.

you should use the proper MAP sensor for your motor, looks like you are using a CRX Si one to me. thats not going to fix your idle problem but it sure as hell will make your car run better.

a map is a map. using the crx one on that motor wont make a difference.

WRONG. ******* hell, if you only knew how wrong that was. i even said it will not make a difference on the idle, it WILL make a difference on the way the car drives. try running an HF map on a B18A. you will know what i am talking about.

Re: obd0 b16a CRX vacuum diagram/pics HELP ME! (temp)
well heres my next question, the obd1 map sensors usually mount on top of the throttle body, which my TB does not have any spot for this, so would it be the same jus to run the vacuum line from it like i did before?

why not just use the map sensor and TB?

Re: obd0 b16a CRX vacuum diagram/pics HELP ME! (temp)
Temp I know you trust me - You can use either map sensor. It really doesn't matter buddy. They both put out the same reading for the same amount of vaccum pressure.
And in that picture i can see where your vacuum leak is. Dead center, that dashpot valve next to the throttle body.
