i was able to squeeze mine in after removing the 4 bolts on bottom of cross member and 2 on the front for radias arms. just move the cross member a bit then should be easy to fit in

I agree, the only way to get a 1 pc. header on is thru the bottom, and you'll have to remove the crossmember.

ya i know i have to remove the crossmember i just was wondering which way i should do it.
1. remove the 4 vertical bolts on the cross member and then just the 2 nuts on the front of the crossmember
2. remove the 4 vertical bolts on the cross member and then remove the shocks and axles so that i can access the four (2 on each side) bolts that bolt to the lower control arm?

just unbolt the x member and drop it a few inches, that should give you more than anough room

have you actually put in a one piece header only by lowering it like that. i will only allow the cross member to drop about 2 inches. will that be enough?

Remove the crossmember to install headers is alot more easy then takin out the motor "obviously". But anyways just try that first with a couple inch's off it and see if it fits.

I guess cause im new to the forums, it won't let me check instant messages. Well though go ahead and try what me and other people have been sayin about the crossmember, even if it drops only a few inch's or so, that should be enough to play with the room a little and clear it somehow. Nobody ever said it wasn't gonna be a pain in the ***, but i know you want them new headers on there.
