mysterious clunking noise, maybe a bad motor mount
The problem is that, only when i turn left it clunks, it wobbles and feels like the wheel is going to fall off. Example, like at the intersection i turn it does that. but when i turn right, every thing is solid.
this is what i did to the car already ITR Tranny, innovative cable to hydro mounts, reason why i think its the tranny is because the bushing looks like its sagging a bit. pics will be posted up later. i also did upper control arm and the ball joint, lower ball joint, wheel bearing, rack end bushing, inner and outer tie rod, caliper. today i doubled check to see if everything was tight and in good shape......... also i have the jdm 4-1 itr header install. to be able for these to sit flush, you have to cut the front cross member a bit to fit. i accidentally cut too much off.. could this also cause it to do all that clunking and wobbling? i just order me some innovative competition traction bar......

I go one for you. I had a car do that to me. Turn out to that the axle had a ring on the outer shaft that needed to be pryed off because it wasnt letting the axle sit all the way in the hub so it rattled when you turned. It could be simple as a axle nut being loose

the ring sits flush with it to the axle. and axle nut is tight, I'll take the ring out and give it a try. Also I'll try to get pix tomorrow of the saggy mount on the tranny. it sags a bit but not a hole lot.

Hmm... it sounds like you've changed all the right things. I can see that is your factory front crossmember, did you check your radius rod busings?
You may want to try and install a traction bar.

radius rods are normal, set to as normal as it can be... now I'm starting to think that its the Hasport axle. Darn it, I should of posted some pix up of how the axle was sitting like too. Innovative with Hasport stuff don't go to good together at all or what?

found out what was wrong. The passenger axle isn't sitting straight. Its at in angle like this, thats why when i turn left, there is alot of stress and caused it to clunk. How can i fix this problem N-E-body know?

i think you can adjust it with a traction bar. or maybe you missmatched upper control arms. that brings the whole knuckle forward
my car clunked when it was under load instead. with new axles now it vibrates.
theres play on my differential where the axles go in. is that normal?

actually the lower control arm is a little to far back. And before i put my uca in i made sure they were the correct side and size. Mine differential do not move. i put a clean rag in mine so that when i take out the axle. It dosn't leak every. And i don't remember anything loose.

when you say your car was under alot of load. you meant that the axle were a bit to long? or was your car really dropped? I've only drop my car 1.5 inches. mine kinda feels like the axle is a little bit to long but idk.

Re: mysterious clunking noise, maybe a bad motor mount
sorry about that was to excited about the fix, but here's what happen. thy HASPORT axle was to long. Even with the dust rings out they were still binding. So i decided to go to auto zone and grab a 91-93 DA axle. And it work PERFECT no more nasty clunk, everything is normal now

Hasport axles are meant to be used with Hasport mount kit
we do offer other length axles available for those with mount kits other than Hasport
