is my compressor locked up?
I just put a new A/c belt on and the a/c compressor pulley spins fine until you turn the a/c on then it starts to lock up. its with just the fan on and you can turn the compressor pulley with the belt off and the car off. so any one know whats goin on? I have tried loosening and tightening the belt

sounds like it is. with the car off try to turn the front of the compressor by hand. it should turn with little effort. if it wont then your compressor is locking or locked up.
