Alright, new goodies arrived today.... JE 8.5:1 pistons and Eagle H-Beam rods... The type R oil pump arrives tomorrow. Werd! Heading to the machine shop next week for some engine block lovin. Oh yeah!

Work work work.... Got pretty much all the welding done in the bay. Started putting some filler down to smooth it out. Also blasted out all the seam sealer on the driver side... looks soo much better with all the crap gone. The photos will go sequential.... and now I just need a finish skim coat... light sand.. and primer. I still have to remove a couple things from the firewall, but should be cool.
Motor is at the machine shop... Got ARP everything going on the bottom end.. I will post picks later this week when I get it back. WERD!

Looks really good so far. Do you still have the storage compartment and cargo cover you removed? If so would you want to sell it?

I do have it! BUT.. I am putting it back in If I change my mind... I will let you know. I have everything! Interior was complete and unmolested when I got it. I know I got something most don't have and its getting harder to find these 20 year + old pieces. My buddy is trying to get me to go with a striped interior... but I am not too hot on it. I'll keep you posted

yeah.... then it will look like every other CRX cause its the only option for most owners.... AS THEY don't have a complete interior and finding pieces are too pricey or too hard. I could be different and run a clean finished off interior and be exception.... not the standard.

Alright folks! New goodies! oooooooohhhhhhhhh! New AEM fuel rail... I have to say the satin black finish looks AMAZING! New OEM Honda Type R oil pump to give a little love to the inner workings of my soon to be brand new bottom end! Then I have my water pump, tensioner, timing belt and gasket kit.

just bought my 88 crx, first find was pretty much full interior (dash, cluster cover, rear side panels, etc. for 100$) mine had interior just was painted when i bought it. but when i took my interior out, it DID NOT look as clean as yours

ive got rust on the bottom of the car drivers side, just gonna cut it all off and weld new metal. hopefully that will be good

Yeah buddy! You better believe it. I will have to do a day trip and get some of my friends together down here and roll up. My friend has a nice H22 swapped hatch that is pretty sick and lots of work and $$$ gone in to it. Grab a couple others and roll it! hahahaha!

No real progress today, had to clean out my shed!

Just read the entire thread. Lucky you got it from your brother in law before I tried to buy it from him locally... Its coming along great and obviosly better off in your hands than mine. Keep up the great work and post a shisnit load of pictures for us.

I was lucky... it was sitting in his driveway for 1 1/2 months while he drove his new Accord. He called me and said... Come get it! Had to air up a tire, change the oil and drive it home on expired tags! lol Anyway, he was really emotional about the car even though it was not a gem. Basically he sold it saying I could not sell it. So, my plan... dump a ton of money in it that I will never get back and then it will never be worth selling!

Got more stuff done this weekend. Good times! Fixed the saggy door hinges on the driver side.... Started doing some filler on the driver side tower in the engine bay. Also removed the heater core and my awesome! broken heater controls... like everyone elses! anyway... more pics.

Got a little primer put down on the passenger side area. The areas look pretty good for the most part. I can now see where the low spots are at so I can keep on making it just right. Lots of work kids.... lots!

Got another part in the mail today. Found a real good buy on a Blox turbo manifold.... Couldn't pass it up. It will work well especially with my cramped engine bay. I am going to hit it with the wire brush really quick and shoot some black header paint on it... it will look purdy!

I think it is so awesome that I am the only one that posts anything on my thread.... At least it keeps me entertained! lol

Got the injectors I am using for the build. I am using 560cc's from an Evo that I picked up from my neighbor that works at English Racing in Camas, WA.

Also had the head cleaned up. New Supertech valve seals and freshened up. Looks good. Also picked up a 92 GSR YS1 tranny.... so I am looking pretty good. Called the machine shop today and my bottom end should be done next week. It has new ACL race bearings on the bottom and it will look brand spanken new! I will post up thems photos soon.

Lots and lots and lots of boost! I wanted to keep is safe, very torquey and able to take a high amount of boost. No Vtec so, with the low compression and big boost #'s it should do really well off the line etc.
