Default integra rad into ef

i have an integra radiator laying around and my radiator just busted today. instead of spend money i was trying to just fit it. its a 90 si with a stock motor. it looks like the upper hose will work and i have it in there my only problem is the lower hose is too small to go on. anyone know which hose will solve this problem?

Could try using the teg lower hose( and trimming if necessary ), and leaving a piece of the original radiator hose on the engine side, and sliding the teg hose over it. Then clamp the **** out of it and hope there are no leaks.

It's ghetto, and I had problems with a similar set up that was in my car when I got it, but it can work if you don't have any money for the right parts....though there is a reason my car wasn't like that very long.

You could also try going to a decent parts store with your original hose, and see if they can find one with a close enough shape( but with differing end sizes ), that comes from a different vehicle. Might stumble on something that works, but it will take comparing the hoses to find it.

before inserting the hose, try applying a lubricant such as hair shampoo or dish washing liquid soap into the hose's inner walls.

I tried lubricating it. It wouldn't go. What year range would that integra radiator be from I can't remember I had it laying around so long.

I put a Integra radiator in my ef hatch without a hitch. I used the stock d15b1 lower hose and a 90 Integra GS upper hose (trimmed). I just had to bend the driver side top mount a little to make it fit flush. I would lubricate the bottom nipples on the radiator so that it will sit completely down in the stock lower radiator mounts.
