i have clicking noise on the front right.passenger side
when i turn left i noticed some clicking noise. i dont know if something is loose or the bearing is out or if the cv is bad.
1991 civic wagon.
no noise when i accelerate, stop, right turns.
how should i test it unless you guys know what it might be.
my guess: cv joint or bearing. not sure how to even determine which one, or how to test it.

Jack up car and do 3-9 horizontal test, and 6-12 vertical test.
3-9: Tie Rods inner/outer
6-12: wheel bearing
Check if there's play in the axle as I had the same problem before.

im not familar with the horizontal and vertical test. can you elaborate.
im not folllowing what your trying to look for in the video. did you find what your testing for? is that the sound i need or not?
or are you looking for the looseness of the turns?

Do a turn with the steering wheel all the way to the right in a parking lot. If it clicks and clicks when your giving it gas its the CV going out. Repeat for the left .

Look at the face of the wheel/tire as a clock and on the 3/9 hour *Horizontal* and 6-12 hour *vertical*
the sound that I was hearing in parking lots, the clicking. So I went under the car and started spinning the axle to look for that sound, and it came from the inner CV joint. I just bought a new axle on Rockauto.com for like $40 shipped

OEM is almost always the best option, but if you can find a decent quality aftermarket (especially with a high mileage warranty thatd be great too) the most common purchased items on Rockauto have a heart next to it.)
