I am losing brake pressure....
i have been experiencing loss of brake pressure lately, you know, i got to pump my brakes at stop signs, that type of thing. so, i went ahead and replaced my back brake pads (front is good) and bled front and back. it is NOT leaking fluid but is losing pressure

Replace the master cyl....and look for vaccuum leaks on the booster. That is common as well.

do you have drum brakes? Make sure you adjust the drum shoes properly. I had the same issue but it ended up just being maladjusted brake drums.

i just replaced the master cylinder, the power booster had a little brake fluid around it but the seal was good. there was more pedel travel but i wasn't losing pressure anymore. i bled my brakes, took it on a test drive, and there's a lot more pedel travel now. still holding pressure though.

if the brake pedal engages low try adjusting the rod lenth on the brake pedal. is it a stock master for that year and model you put it on? if it is try rebleeding the master there might of been some trapped air in it. did you bench bleed the master with fluid before you installed on the car?

u forgot to bench bleed the master cylinder...no big deal. just bleed brakes again. i would try like 5 times at each corner. and if u had a vacuum leak at the booster it would not cause pedal travel....you would have manual brakes and would not be able to press down on the brake pedal and make it move more than a half inch if that. the booster asist in aplying pressure. so just bleed them real good...good luck man

i already have done all that. in sequence. and the master cylinder. like i said they are great again. perfect pressure. but theres just more play in the pedel before the breaks grab. no biggy.
