hi im about to purchase a crx for 7000 dollars,how fast would you say i can go in the 1/4 with the following parts:
1989 crx si
98 jdm itr motor
dc ceramic 4-2-1 header
tanabe race medallion exhaust

jun type 3 cams
jun ecu
jun dual valve springs
crower titanium retainers

injen 1 piece cold air intake from 99 si
msd fuel pump
weapon r fuel pressure regulator

I think not. The motor stock would put the car at low to mid 14's
More like mid to high 13's
possibly low 13's
maybe even high 12's on slicks

I would just ask the guy you're buying it from, I'm sure he's clocked it.

I guess you might see high to mid 13s, but I doubt 12s.

Id say you should be able to get some low 13s out of that.

keep this in mind if a crx is 2000lbs and has 200whp....good enough for a 12 flat. according to specs if you have a type r motor bone stock in a crx you are capable of running a 13.1-13.3 on street tires. granted that fwd is not very forgiving and must be driven well to accomplish this. can it run 12's yes with slicks of course it can, esecially with all of the bolt ons and being tuned properly. what it all comes down to is the driver.

The driver would have to be very good to get in 12's though.......he'd have to have MAD SKILLZ
