How do you remove the H emblem on hood?

I was very gentle and still broke mine, ended up shaving the two holes because I don't feel like going to Honda for a new badge

Get the fishing line and loop it from one index finger to the other(like your flossing your teeth) and run it back and forth between the hood and emblem, slowly going down. If you run into the pins half way down, remove the line and go from the bottom up. It should come off.
