Honda Civic D16A6 check engine light and code
My check engine light kept coming on once i would let it slow down by the compression of the motor. i just built the motor inside and out and dont know why its doing it. I read to try and find a plug if you dont have one you will have a LED light on your ECU and i turned the key on but didnt start it. The LED flashed one time and paused and then flashed 20 times pretty quick and then paused and again one slow and 20 fast... Anyone know what that means THANKS!!

...and you rebuilt an engine?
You should know the fundamentals when working on a car!
Search and you will find what you're looking for... or use the manual you should have if you just rebuilt your engine.

Well if your sure its 1 long flash then its code 10, but if its one short flash its code 1 (o2 sensor)
The intake air temp sensor should be on the back of your intake manifold. A small round white 2 wire plug. Something is wrong to make it throw a cel...Possibly you mixed that plug up with your Iacv (idle air control valve) also located on the back of your intake mani. Or the sensor got broke/pinched wires.
I'm not sure what causes the Eld code 20. I would fix the code 10 problem first and go from there
Maybe someone can give more info on that..

i looked into the code 20 and it says something about a open or grounded circuit on the ECU. which i can relate to i think... because i installed an AFC and im guessing its just throwing that code because its not used to having that hooked up...but im not sure... and your right i looked again and its 1 short blink... o2 sensor is prob bad...
