i think it looks very nice, i cant wait till i get a turbo in my crx. by the way your brake fluid looks low.

there's a ton of info in the archives on catch cans, so much in fact its confusing...
most people recommend removing the two plugs in back, and running a big line from the valvecover, all these going to a baffled can.
OT... but whats the rest of the setup?

On a race-only car, I'd say ok, that solution looks fine. On a street driven car plumb the tank to the pcv and intake just like the photo. I run mine on the street and strip and have mine routed just like crxvtecturbo. Tom Payn from Payn Technologies recommended that I plumb it like this for my application, I tend to agree, and it has worked very well. You still have on-boost ventilation through the filter on the cam cover.

it will relieve pressure but will not suck out blowby gasses. at full boost you are usually turning high rpm's when blowby is most prominent. the way i posted will work ALL of the time, if you understand how vacume is created you would see my point. the pre turbo pipe will ALWAYS produce vacume. run it however you want man im just tryin to help you out and back up everything i say with facts. i did all of this research already and wanted to save you some time.

If you knew how to spell vacuum, maybe more people would listen. I fully understand how the engine creates vacuum, however the setup you have drawn will not properly be able to create a vacuum inside the catch can because vacuum at the air intake is not even in the same ballpark as it is in the intake. I'm not saying your setup is wrong, it's just not efficient for a street car.

im trying to help this guy out for ***** sake. i dont need an english lesson. this **** makes h-t a shitty place. when some one tries to help, and someone like you disects each and every thing you type. you knew what i meant by vacume. as for it not being efficent....i think you are wrong. the canister will always be under vacuum and always be scavenging the crankcase. and how was your post helpfull??? you didnt even give him an alternative setup. you are useless...... to trolls like yourself.

I don't think it's necessary to start calling people names..that kind of thing makes HT a shitty place. The person that started the thread asked a simple question, I provided a simple answer, you start accusing me of not understanding vacuum, I accuse you of not even knowing how to spell vacuum, you call me a 'troll'....
Bottom line, there are multiple ways to route a catch can, each way has their proper application, advantages and disadvantages..
