Default flooded engine

Car still wont start. Resoldered the main relay, sounds good. I hear the click and then the fuel pump runs for two seconds. Car still wont start. Replaced the fuel filter. No start.

I pull the plugs and sure enough they are SOAKED with gas. I freaking flooded it bad. It wont start with the pedal to the floor even after letting it sit for fifteen minutes.

I was reading up and it said that once a spark plug is soaked it wont work anymore. Is this true? If I flooded it that badly, do I just replace the plugs and start it again?

No.

You're obviously getting fuel, but have you checked to see if you're getting spark?

I'm going to check it in the morning, the lame part is I live alone. The spark plug wires wont reach the ground where I can see them when I start the engine so I cant turn it over and check the plugs. Any other suggestions when I'm doing this by myself?

At the least I've narrowed it down to spark.

Oh, that's a problem. I've always used a buddy to crank the engine while I check for spark.
