Default Distributor troubles

Well a I recently purchased my 3rd SI, and it came with a little distributor I think. The symptoms are with more than say 30% throttle passed 3000 rpms it feels like its misfiring. The tach also jumps around once it gets passed 2500 rpms.

It seems pretty obvious that its distributor, but just checking to see if you guys could think of anything else it could be. Plugs and wires are new.

Sometimes the little plastic protectors that go to the ignitor leads get torn or broken, It happened to my old integra once Electrical tape fixed it. If it isn't that just replace the ignitor (the little thing with all the wires leading to it in the distributor). Good luck

well I ended up fooling around with the wires to the igniter and got it to work again. The top left wire was a little frayed. and to think I almost bought a new igniter...
