there's alot of weld spots.... They make a special drill bit thing for drilling out spot welds. Not sure what it's called or looks like, I've just head of it. Think Sears has it?

Re: core support replacement
I just recently did mine, you have to drill out every wield.Make pilot holes with a small drill bit then go over it with a bigger bit to go through the entire wield. You will also need a chisel to make life easier when prying it off.

I wasn't able to find the but without ordering it, but I have been drilling pilot holes and going back with a bigger bit. I was able to that thing off last night with a sharp cold chisel pry bar. Thanks for the help
