Default coilovers or lower springs ?

Sup guys I know this has been asked a million of times but I'm looking for advice from people who had both, I want a decent functional drop , so far people recommended the tokico illumina shocks and struts along with eibach Lowering pro kit. I asked a couple of buddies and they all recommend coilovers but the thing is they don't have crx's. which would be best for my little rex?

I think you have to get a complete damper set or whatever it's called.

Tokico illuminas and eibach pro kit have always been and still are better than the chinese made aluminum body ****.

it was the best streetable setup ive had other than stock springs. and still worked fine on the track.

This. I had that exact setup on my old CRX and was very happy with it.

I can't imagine getting a set coilovers that works well for less than $600.

Wrong thread, there's a for sale thread here. But since you brought it up. Crx Tein springs are really sub par.

naything besides performance coilovers will wear your suspension faster and possibly damage other suspension components. You may as well save and buy the performance coilovers becuase you will be paying the same in replacement parts or repairs anyway. Im ordering these soon and have heard great reviews from people at meetups. I've also ridden on them in a friends civic. Dont forget the tophats!
