Best Oil
I am new to that Honda life... my motor seems a bit dry... i only have a quart of 5w-30... wondering if i put that in to drive about a half mile to nearest autozone... if its ok... then what is the best oil to put in her... shes a daily driver no racing or pushing the motor... high mileage (319k) i have seen that 10-40 would be good? or should i use 20-50?

Re: Best Oil
I just run cheap walmart 10w 30 but change it more often than normal(1500 miles or so) my motor has 196k no smoke. you can get 5+1 quarts plus filter for $20 and do the tranny too

10-30
Depends on what you want out of your oil, do you want ultimate protection, cheap but good all around, or something you have to change less often. For protection and fewer changes, Royal Purple is imo superior to anything I've used, lucas and redline are top notch as well. But at $9/qt here, RP ain't cheap. For half the price, I like mobil 1 synthetic, Castrol is crap, Valvoline has a very nice syn blend for the money, Pennzoil is okay, but more expensive for no better quality.

Do your engine a favor though, don't buy cheap @$$ no name oil, would you get a blood transfusion with monkey blood?
