Default B18c5 Integra TypeR Motor Into A CRX?

Hi everyone I am new to this site and to Hondas. Ever since i bought my prelude (bout a year ago) i have absolutely fell in love with them. I have been working on cars since I was 12 (Part of the beauty of having a father who is a mechanic as luck would have it). Unfortunately my education mainly consists of working on older muscle cars (good for drag racing nothing else). I have been looking into getting into an amateur racing league (Specifically East Coast Honda Challenge). I would like know if it is possible to drop the B18c5 Integra type R motor into a CRX. I have looked at many other sites and have gotten mixed answers regarding this subject matter. (I even had one guy tell me i should drop in a h22... I looked up the weight differences in these engines and this just seemed ludicrous to me) If this is possible who carries the motor mounts i would need. What kind of ECU and wiring harnesses will be necessary? I plan to do this swap myself. Also i have heard tale of people dropping h22s into civics. Could anyone tell me which of these swaps would yield the best power to weight ratio. Any help someone could give me would be very much appreciated. PS- sorry for the life story.

In a nut shell you can drop in any B series motor and even an H22. The B18c5 is VERY doable and i'm sure there are a few people on here who have them. You can throw an H22 in there, but I wouldn't if you are going to race ECHC. People say they turn sloppily, but i'm sure that's managable with the right suspensions set-up. Racing an H22 though in an EF............don't think anyone is running that set-up.

I dont know if noobs can search...........but once you can I would do a search. You'll find a lot of info on this site.

You can get mounts from http://www.hasport.com and check here https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=50010 for where to get the engine from. Then it's a matter of getting a couple parts from an Integra and mechanically it's basically a bolt-on. You have a couple options as to which way to go with the wiring, but that's very doable, too.
