Re: (Guiding my way back.)
a 75 shot on a b16 is no problem, unless you have a bad tune or something.
i would check out the forced induction section of honda tech. there are some nitrous guys in there.
you don't need low comp pistons for a 75 shot.
do you know if you want a wet, dry, or direct port setup?
i don't know much about nitrous, but i do know that the b16 doesn't have high enough compression to cause a problem with a 75 shot

Re: (91DBSexyTime)
ok thanks ive heard just using a wet system and retarding the timing i could run the 75 shot i want to lower the compression ratio some and i think im going to run 450s and a 225 walboro and fpr.

Re: (vegas hoe)
i want to run a wet system ive heard its alil safer than dry especially with over say a 50 shot and the direct port is a lil out of my leauge for the 75 shot. to complicated id imagine.

well i got a friend with a DA with a b16 in it and not that i reccomend it but he runs a 75 shot with no tune no fuel upgrades he just retards timeing and his been pulling 13s out of it for over a year. however to do it right i would tap your lines into the intake mani run equal spray get a good tune bottle warmer is key and just hope for the best after that. but if u gonna low comp pistons u can throw much more then 75 at it.

Re: (Guiding my way back.)
depends on your tune.
do a search for nitrous and you will get some results for a "official nitrous thread"
some of the guys posting there know a lot about nitrous.

Re: (vegas hoe)
is it a daily driver? if so i wouldn't recommend dropping compression much, if you do then it will lose power when not using the nitrous. the better you tune the car the higher the shot you can use, to an extent.
i had a friend with a built motor with 11.5:1 compression running a 150 shot on his ls-v.

he has a good point dont take the fun out of the b16, your not gonna spray everytime you accellerate. my best advice to you is dont use nitrous lol

Re: (91DBSexyTime)
Obvious you know nothing. You can spray safely on a high compression motor. Also a stock B16 can handle a 75 shot. To the OP Which kit were you looking to get, Wet or Dry? There is also direct port.
I personally prefer direct port and believe it to be the safest of all three.

Re: (Guiding my way back.)
i am not that familiar with nitrous on hondas but you should have no problem running a wet 75 shot on a b16. i wouldnt really run lower compression since a 75 shot isnt that much and you are going to loose alot of power lowering compression.
i have a couple friends running 75 shots on hondas with out tunes and they are fine, but that is a bad idea the best thing you can do running nitrous is get it tuned.
