yea i broke a breaker bar+1/2" with a 4'ft extension....i was jumping on the extension....then i tied it to my truck, the extension broke and went through my rear window of my truck.... i gave up, took the whole fuking assembly out....just used the hub/assembly off of my wrecked parts crx..and yes i still have a hub with an axle sitting up in my barn.....

If I remember correctly... you have the HF axles and hubs..
Throw the axles and the hubs away as one unit and get some new hubs and axles..

I used a 1/2 Craftsman breaker bar with an impact socket. Went to Home Depot, bought a hollow 4' metal pipe to put over the breaker bar. **** was easier than using an impact. Sprayed a little PB Blaster as well.
I had a buddy inside my car with his foot on the brake though.
EDIT: For the love of god, DO NOT use a ratchet of any sort. Only breaker bars people, sheesh.

damn I could not figure out the word Ratchet today, lol, man I was saying socket driver cause I couldn't think what the hell the name was!!!
But yeah I busted a ratched today easy as hell too . And I was smart enough to use an extension *snap*
Finally got the brains to use the breaker bar *bend* . Ended up taking the axle with me from the junkyard . Impact got it off. I will have to bring a can of soda with me tomorrow to the junkyard!!
