Default Problems with car bogging

This might have been covered before but I was unable to find anything with the search page.

Anyways, I have a 90 hatch, D15 with 105k miles. The car has always ran great up until about a month ago. At first I thought it was the altenator but now im not so sure. I have a 60 amp altenator, or w/e they measure them in..but it is only outputing 51.9. I thought that was causing it but I don't know. The car run fine while cold, but once it warms up it will bog down when I push the clutch in or it is just sitting idle. It bogs down to like 2-300 RPM..most cases it will sit there and hop up to 600RPM, but sometimes it will shut off. Lately its been bogging down, then it just shuts off.

I was thinking possibly vacuum lines or the idle control valve but I couldnt find anything, unless i missed it

Codes appear when there is a check engine light on correct? there is no engine light on mine. If the check engine light doesnt have to be on, then how exactly do I check for the codes? (never had to before)

you say it only boggs when you let the clutch out and your in neutral i would check your clutch adjustment your clutch might be trying to engage and bogging you down if its not that check and replace all of your vacuum lines 1 at a time so you are for sure where they all go if needed, vacuum leaks can do some weird crazy stuff

Its not a clutch problem, i'll have to check the vacuum lines ... how many are there and where are they all at?
