Look in the classifieds for someone parting a car.
If you want to try to clean it:

Pull it out and take it to the car wash.
Use liquid tide and one of those truck wash scrub brushes. Then after you work the carpet good with that, use the pressure wash to hose and then rinse it. You can often hand from a wall in the car wash using the floor map clamps. It won't be new, but it will help clean it up.

Do you know how much rhino lining costs? it would be cheaper to buy a new aftermarket carpet. To do the whole floor with prep would cost at least $200

You might as well save up for some new carpet if it can't come clean. Or like-new carpet. I think I seen someone selling brand new carpet for $95. Not bad.

If your gonna take the carpet out and clean it you should try using a hose attachment from a carpet cleaner i actually just did this today on my seats.

It worked great the difference was night and day, and man those seats were so nasty.

Each time i would spray some shampoo on them and scrub then suck it away the dirt getting sucked up was literally black.

That was the hardest to read sentence ever.

you could probably put a backing on the part of the carpet in the front passenger footweells to prevent wearing the carpet down to the metal again.

If you're really ambitious, you could go down to the local carpet mart and get a couple of yards of some cheap carpet and cut to fit. Not quite as nice as formed carpet, but it's been done. And you'd probably only spend $20-$30.
