Default ? about swap, is it worth it?

Ok I have decided that I am going to sell my 97 civic to my sister and just spend the money on my crx. Since the motor and tranny wouldn't fit in the civic I am thinking it will fit better in the CRX.

My question is I have a 94 integra with and automatic tranny in it. Would I be able to put that in my '90 CRX that has a manuel tranny or would I have to buy a manuel for the LS motor. Would I need to do anything special to make this work? I know I need motor mounts, axels and ecu and what not anything else? I have the whole integra just don't have a title for it. Thanks for the help.

I say sell the integra and just buy the motor that you want with everything you need. Pending on what state you live in is what you will need to get or what you can get.
Are you trying to go all out racer in your crx or do you just want a zippy car that is still gonna keep up with others? Cuz of course you can do the bseries swap. but I say you just get a sohc vtec. It wouldn't matter too much cuz your car is so light anyways. you save money like this and you have enough left over to get simple mods.I/E/H/... And what model is your crx? if it's the hf you can still get kick *** gas mileage if you keep that tranny on there and you have longer gears so that means longer vtec.

The integra is not really mine to sell, lol I was told I could have whatever off it I wanted and the motor and tranny have 90,000 miles on it. My CRX is an HF but has a SI motor in it. The motor is shot though, smokes so bad not even funny. I don't want a racer really, I was just looking for something fun to drive and save money on gas with my truck. After I put the 22's with the 35" tires on it i now get 8 mpg. lol

haha aight..Then I guess sell the motor and tranny that is what i can think of wthout spending lots of money for the axles ecu tranny(d series wont fit b series) mounts and all the other goodies required. where to you already have d series set up. It all depends on you money situation.

money is not an issue, but wouldn't I be able to take the ECU, axels and everything out of the integra? Its just the acura is and automatic and my CRX is an manuel. I just figures I had that car there and whatever off it I want. But if im better off just buying like a ZC motor or something instead.

well Yeah I guess you can do that if you want pending on the year your integra is from i believe you can use those parts. It's cuz you said least work and dropping a d series motor is least work. And i wouldn't go zc personally. There is nothing out there for it. I would go D15B or Z6 both are vtec and in a rex that kills.

My integra is a 94, i guess work isn't the issue it would be workablity. I want to be able to put the stuff in and have if run fine. So what ever motor is going to go in with the least issues. lol But I have this one with no money in it and only 90,000 miles I figure might as well, that is if it is doable. I know with any swap its going to be work, we just put a B16a into the race car last month. I mean that is way easier because nothing is hooked up. Just whatever is needed to make it drive.
