91 hatch/ b18b1 car wont start :/
Hey guys, I just came back from deployment and my car wont start :/... my wife has been able to start it a couple of weeks ago but now it wont start. before it wouldnt even show any lights on the guages, but i swapped the battery because it was tested bad and still wont crank over... I'm thinking it could be the starter that could be bad... but not too sure... does anyone have a idea what could be wrong?

first off thank you. second off try letting the fuel pump prime before you start it. or turn the key in the on position and listen to hear if the fuel pump primes it's self. over time gas deteriorates so try draining the tank and putting fresh gas in it. and i know it sounds pretty bad but take the spark plugs out and spray a little bit of starting in the cylinders.

After sitting for long periods of time, the rings go dry.
Remove the spark plugs and drop a cap full of oil into each cylinder and let it sit for a while before trying to start.
good idea to drain some oil and pour it into the valve cover as well (over the cam is best if you feel up to removing the cover).

Is the motor turning over and not starting or does it just do nothing? And the key thing, is when you have it in position two all the dummy lights will turn on for about two seconds, during that time you should hear the fuel pump priming and the main relay will click right before the CEL turns off. Can you hear the starter engaging?

hey guys sorry that i haven't responded back earlier. I've been caught up in a lot of things around the house and all. So I kept playing with the car, i tried tapping on the starter to see if it will work (not hard), and I held in the key to hear what it will do and i used to hear a noise, as if the starter was moving but now I don't hear anything now... so... I'm thinking of just switching the starter to see what that will do...
