86 CRX project 1st gen crx
Just picked up an 86 crx and wondered if anyone has swapped suspension from gsr or ef. Also any other opinions

err... If I recall correctly, the 1st gen CRXs came with struts and a solid rear beam axle. I would think it would require A LOT of fabricating to "switch over" eg or dc2 suspensions.

there is torsion bars up front with a soild axle and panhard bar in the rear ,you can put 1st gen teg springs in the rear ,but have to reindex the torsion bars for a big drop in the front
there are a few companys that sell firstgen parts you just have to look around a bit
jackson racing had springs allso monkey tech ,eibach ,kyb makes struts and mcpherson,iluminas are avalible too
there is a company that makes bigger torsion bars but i cant remember the name off hand
good luck with the crx bro ,dont give it up because there isnt much parts for it ,finding them is the fun part
