Default 5k rev limiter

I got a b18b1 block gsr tranny and head and i turboed it but my rev limiter is kickin in at 5k any suggestions by the way i have a p28 ecu.

Do u have any engine checks? warring link?

yea it was blinking 6 times but now its solid im thinking it just needs to be tuned

First, you need to find out what code(s) it's throwing. Your car is trying to tell you something is wrong and you're ignoring it.

no i know what it is its the map sensor but it is the tune i just talked to all version and they said it was because i dont have fuel management so they are gonna chip it and tune it for me. and i have a different cluster dont know what car its from but cant seem to get the speedo to work everything else works but that

are you overrunning the map sensor? how much boost?

o great another forum that somebody has to pick at every thing you say because its not proper punctuation. get over it but yea right now its on 6psi but when i tune it im puttin it on 10psi.

You really are completely oblivious.

Unbelievable.

Since you couldn't figure it out, let me explain it to you: You can't run a turbocharged B18B on stock D16Z6 fuel maps. The fact that you even bothered to start this thread without ever having tuned the fuel injection computer is just incredible. Did you do any research into forced induction whatsoever before bolting parts on?

It's your ecu trying to prevent you from destroying the engine by implementing a temporary lower rev limit. if you really are trying to run a boosted dohc non-vtec b18b with a stock sohc vtec ecu.. well frankly i'm at a loss for words
