what all did you do to get yours down around 1400? im putting a b16 in a hf and its fully gutted, no a/c, or power steering. what else did you do. lexan?

i have a 88hf with a b16 and turbo and even before the turbo the car is really quick just make sure that u have enough tire for the car and my car seemed not to like rain as much afterwords and hated snow because of the extra power and tires just spining.

it has an a6 in it with every un needed thing removed from engine/engine bay. all ac gone, including behind dash. glove box, fuse cover, door panels, all rear interior, all vents accept the center 2 (just need some type of heat) ducting behing the dask removed accept to the 2 center vents. trimmed bit of the metal from the inside of the doors, lotsa metal trimmed from the hatch area, rear bumper support cut down, swapped to rear disc ( a bit lighter). center console and radio surround removed. sure there is a bunch more ****, will post when i remember

will get many pics just for you buddy. since you seem to have a hard time believing something that won't change your live in the slightest, but oh yes, i will get MANY pics. didn't weigh the disc, but i was told they were lighter, and heard it from MANY different people. when i was picking them up to put them on the car, the disc also felt lighter. anyway, expect some pics next time i take it to the scale. should be in the next week or so

Honda rated the curb weight of the '88 HF at 1819lbs.
Remember that Honda usually overrates their cars' weights a little.

They overrate the weights. The cars usually weigh less than their rated curb weights.
