ok I looked I watched and now the question

PLEASE explain what you have running off 1 vac port ??

you should have the MAP going from its own vac not shared or it throws the tune to crap when you hit boost "will not read correct at all"

other vac units can share with out problems "boost gauge, purge, FPR "

apart from that all is looking good

To be perfectly honest --- INCREDIBLY IRRITATING.

Now that the car is running, all the people who have been lurking in here, talking to eachother on the street, spreading rumors at the drag strip, and any punk highschool kid who knows anything (or doesn't) about a honda has been ripping up and down the street in the RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOOD that my shop is located in.

It's like these ******* f@ggots don't have anything better to do then roll by my shop slowly and then try and lay a burnout on the street right outside where I'm working when I hear their sh!tty rusted out muffler-falling-off POS honda whining away.

I don't know how to say this any other way.

STOP DRIVING YOUR RICED OUT FvCKING P.O.S. LOUD HONDAS THROUGH MY NEIGHBORHOOD.

I HAVE NO INTEREST WHATSOEVER IN BEING FRIENDLY, AND IF YOU COME ON MY PROPERTY WE WILL HAVE PROBLEMS.

GO DO YOUR BURNOUTS ELSEWHERE -- PEOPLE LIVE IN THIS NEIGHBORHOOD AND SOMEONE HAS CALLED THE COPS 3 TIMES THIS WEEK ABOUT YOU F@GGOTS AND YOUR LOUD CARS GOING UP AND DOWN THE STREET --- AND EVERY TIME, THE COPS COME TO MY SHOP THINKING IT'S ME OR SOMEONE I KNOW.

I AM A PROFESSIONAL AND YOU ARE REFLECTING POORLY ON MY BUSINESS - I KNOW WHERE YOU GUYS LIVE AND IF I KEEP SEEING YOUR CARS ON MY STREET I WILL BE COMING TO YOUR HOUSES TO DISCUSS THIS IN PERSON.

ON BEHALF OF EVERYONE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD -- STOP COMING AROUND HERE. WE DON'T LIKE YOU OR YOUR LOUD CARS. GO AWAY.

And on a personal note -- please don't approach me or my car if you see me around town. I have no interest in being friendly, social, or polite. Don't talk to me. I am an *******.

It's sad, but it seems that respect and simple etiquette have both become non-existent in this sick and disgusting modern world.

Don't worry dude, there's quite a time-gap between what I do and what gets posted here.

I've been daily'ng the car and working on my tune. I was going to get some proper WOT logs yesterday, but everywhere I drive the cops stick on my like glue.

I swear -- it's as if there's an APB on me and my car because ANY TIME i see a cop car and the cop sees me, he always ends up one or two cars behind me within 30 seconds or so, and they usually follow me all the way to my destination. Which makes it very hard to get a proper WOT datalog, obviously.

If all these idiots kept their loud riced out ****-box hondas out of my neighborhood, the people on the block would stop calling the police, and the police would stop coming by my shop thinking that I'm the offender. Maybe then I could get a little peace and quiet without cops following me every time they see my car.

I'll try to get some gopro videos online soon, and maybe a video walkthrough of all my (not hidden) switches and LEDs etc. It's pretty cool actually.

Sorry to hear you're getting hassled due to other dumbasses. You live in a much smaller world than I do so it's probably way worse. My neighborhood is infested with "racecar driver" morons as well. Last night I swear some asshat was doing laps around some nearby block.

Yeah I'm just working a few final bugs out.

Maybe I'll hit the crater and take some gopro vids. It's interesting to feel the change of the LSD install.

When I punch it through a turn, the back end gets tugged right around tightly, almost as if the power surge snaps the rear end sideways into alignment with the front. Hard to describe.

I'm saying the wheelbase is so short that the rear of the car snaps around a turn very nicely when you punch it right after the apex.

I too noticed this when I almost flew off an off-ramp. Of course my shitty tires and tired suspension played a big role in that.

Tuning is pretty easy actually.

Here we go again. Still not getting into reverse properly. Time to fix that.

My trans ground was crunched in there nicely.

Crunched.

This whole ordeal AGAIN?

Trans comes out without removing motor. Barely.

Keeping things organized.

Well I guess that wasn't the reality of the situation.

Oh god. Here we go again.

Suspected culprit.

Didn't line up where it was supposed to.

See the grind mark where that little tab spun around once before it finally dug in and stayed? Suspecting that the tab wasn't "home" in it's proper place, which stopped the countershaft fork from fully actuating reverse.

And the last straw against avid mounts. They sold me bolts long enough that one of them apparently blew right through the inside of the trans case and broke a hole out.

Reverse gear selector brace bolt didn't feel right either.

Doesn't look right.

Now I'll post whatever random **** I pulled off my cellphone.

Had to catch a rat today.

Because the resident rumblefish was too busy licking it's *******. Actually it might be female, statistically speaking. I don't think it's one of the 0.33% of calicos that are male, and it's certainly not sterile.

Cockpit during daylight hours is still distracting.

Trying to calibrate gauges.

ECT top left, makes a ghost appear in the machine (CEL) when things get too hot. BRB stuffing bigger koyo radiator in there somehow defying the law of physics that states that "no two objects having mass may occupy the same space at the same time."

Looks like that's everything.

Lease is up on my shop in the next few days, so the car will be running and daily driven in the next day or so because I have no recourse if that should not be the case.

I applaud your resourcefulness and your dedication. More people in the world need to stop sitting on their front porch all day and do something, like you.

Good luck remedying your last few issues.

I'm envious of your gauges, I only have their wide band 02, I have to invest into the rest of them but am in dire need of suspension first before I get anything else for my rex. Keep up the good work.

damn man i feel the same way about my neighborhood and honda owners as you do. In the car world, i'm mainly friends with dsm people. too many sketch/broke/jealous honda owners around here that would want to ****** up any honest hard work to make a quick buck.

Not really an update, not really much but I'd like to take this time out to come in here and say... I'm kinda done with the forums.

Thanks to everyone who showed adulation, and any type of positive comment along the way.

The car is on and off the road weekly, new mods, new tweaks, new parts, new stuff. But I can't really bring myself to find the time to document the work.

Car runs well, and that's enough for me.

I've got my eyes on a new shell, and another after that for a k24v CRX, unless I build a stroked nitrous supercharged dart block h2b but it's really no longer smart for me to spend my time blowing money on these damn cars.

All you guys on the forums have been very helpful over the years, you know who you are. It's a shame that most of the old heads are out of the game these days, but the words and documentation they have posted up throughout the years have been indispensable in getting me as far as I am. It feels like this is my graduation speech.

If you can dream it, put in the hours to get it done, and make it happen, it's more than possible.

And to everyone out there trying to build a fast honda --- be VERY careful who you listen to and what advice you take. If building up these cars has taught me one life lesson --- it's that 99% of people are NOT qualified to talk, let alone give advice and perpetuate rumors about what is or is not reality. Don't step in the ****, and it's everywhere.

Maybe I'll make a build thread for my stroker h2b but that's a ways down the road from here and I would be moving to california before undertaking the project because the lack of resources available in hawaii makes things almost impossible.

So once again, thanks, and good bye.
