"Frosted" Headlights
My headlights recently started "frosting" up on very top of them. It's not condensation or fog, but it looks like some kind of residue. I can kind of feel it on the plastic from the outside. I've seen tons of cars with this stuff totally covering their lights and I don't want mine to end up that way
It is hardly noticeable right now but I want to get rid of it before it spreads. Anyone know of an easy way of cleaning this stuff off? Simply washing the car doesn't work. (It looks clean when it's wet though, but the frost returns when it dries ... weird)

Re: "Frosted" Headlights (Vortex)
my friend had the same prob on his eclipse. he used some super high grit sandpaper and sanded them. then he bought some clear plastic wax stuff made by meguires and waxed. the looked brand new!

my buddy runs a detail shop and he wetsands them all the time. Use a waterhose with a steady stream and some fine sand paper. The coarse stuff will leave pit marks in the plastic. Then you can take a buffing wheel and a polishing compound and buff it to a mirror like finish. Normally when wetsanding a plastic surface, i would not go below a 600 grit paper.
