Default zex cam

i just ordered a zex cam with a skunk2 im and gasket what should i feel in the seat of my pants any ideas

So the 59100? From the archived posts I read on here, you probably won't feel much of a difference. You'll feel some but not much. Everyone said the 59300 is where it's at for the ZEX SOHC cam. Not sure about the IM, though. Let us know how everything turns out! I haven't read any reviews on the Skunk2 mani.

i would like to go with tthe stage 2 but don't have the money 4 a new valve train

A lot of people here said the stock valvetrain will be fine for the 59300 as long as you don't raise your rev limit or stay near redline all the time. I'm running the Skunk2 Stage 1, which I read has similar specs to the 59300. Don't know if it's true because I have yet to see lift/duration for it, but I'm running the OEM valvetrain. Skunk2 claims I'll be fine, and I don't race my car that often.

I hear that, anyone install one without the valve spring upgrades? And anyone heard anything good about http://www.exospeed.com cams? They claim 5-8whp.
