Default Won't start, main relay clicks while turning over

Car is a 98 EX w/D16Z6, Y8 intake/exhaust manifolds, Y8 air intake. OBD2a->OBD1 jumper harness with a P28 ECU. Stock OBD2 engine harness with a jumper harness I made so that I could plug the Z6 dizzy into the stock harness. Now I had the car running, ran fine. I shut it off went in. Came back out later and turned the key and the main relay was clicking like crazy. Turns over but won't start. Pushed it down by the garage after the battery went dead from me trying to figure it out up by the house. Let it charge for a bit and then tried it again and then the main relay would only click while turning it over. When you first turn the key on it acts normal, main relay clicks on and off, check engine light comes on and goes off like normal but when you turn it over the main relay starts clicking rapidly. First time I ever converted a car from OBD2->OBD1 and it is also my first EK so I am wondering if anyone else has had a problem like this and what I need to do to get it back on the road(then for sale so I can go back to EFs). Thanks.

Does the engine crank but not start? Are you sure the main relay is clicking when the key is turned to ON(III)? Might the clicking actually be coming from the starter solenoid? If so, pull the starter out and have it tested.

What happens if you kick the area where the main relay is? My car is weird in that you have to sometimes kick the area where the relay is while I hold the clutch down and my car is in neutral in order for it to start. Otherwise it won't start.

The car turns over but does not start. It is most certainly the main relay making the noise. All my grounds are good, no fuses are blown. Not getting spark. :-/

Okay, you don't have spark, there are no fuses blown, and the grounds are good. Does the fuel pump prime?

Clarification: Did you check fuses 44, 31, and 13? Did you check the ground on the thermostat housing? If all of those are fine, then try replacing the main relay as has been mentioned.

Well I ordered the new main relay. We'll see. That was my initial thought but I wanted others' opinions. Guess we shall see tomorrow.

Is the CEL on? Does it stay on steady with and without the service connector jumped?

Does the fuel pump fail to prime when the key is turned to ON(II)?

Do you still lack spark?

Fuel pump DOES prime.

Correct, no spark.

Also, I have looked over the jumper harness and it looks okay, opened up the ECU and it looks okay visually from what I can tell.

Remove the distributor cap and turn the key to ON(II). Do you measure battery voltage at the Blk/Yel wire attached to the coil and the igniter unit? If so, what voltage do you measure at the Yel/Grn wire attached to the igniter unit?
