Wiper position incorrect after changing motor and linkage
I have a 96 Honda Civic DX Coupe, and I recently changed both the motor and linkage because the motor was bad and the wipers would not work.
However, have no idea how to set the home position on the new motor. The wipers wipe most of the window, but on stopping, they do so in the middle of the window, and not at the bottom of the range of motion. This did not use to be the case. Before changing the motor, the wipers would simply stop working while they were wiping, and stop where they were when turned off.
Now, they wipe fine, but they go far below the bottom of the windshield and stop well above it. They return to this strange position when I turn them off. [ie it looks like they are trying to return, but the position it returns to is wrong.]
I have tried to move the arms, but either I can set it so they stop in my line of sight, or I can set it so they wipe off the edge of the window.
Any ideas?

Post pictures/video.
You apparently didn't refer to the service manual for removal and installation instructions.
