Whats the proper way of rebuilding an engine?
I would like to know what is the proper way of rebuilding an engine. I would like to rebuild my B18c1 from scratch. Meaning down to the nitty gritty. I pretty much want everything rebuild with new OEM parts minus the sensors because theyre still in good working condition. So what do I need to replaced or resurfaced?

Buy a Helms service manual, not a Haynes or Chilton one. That tell you all the specs you need to check, torque specs, and how things go back together.

and you can download the manual somewhere, just search around google. I know I have a full 96-00 Civic manual on my laptop.

you gotta rebuild it by oem spec.. noones gonna make a write up on every little thing you need to do. theres ALOT of info that goes into rebuilding even the smallest of engines
