Default Where to learn more?

Hey, I'm planning to do an engine rebuild and swap in the near future, but as of now I don't know enough to be able to do it.

For those who know how to swap/rebuild an engine, where did you learn? Can you link me to some useful info, thanks.

I bought a manual
then I went to local pick and pull and started taking cars apart
taking apart the whole engine piece by piece to have a good visual reference where everything goes

then I rebuilt about 4 engines before I started building mine that way I made stupid mistakes that didn't cost me much before I built mine.

read the build threads here there are plenty of those .I have one also.
theres also the FAQ section
b20vtec forum
pgmfi.org
team integra
and many other forums to pick the info from

but in short
buy a service manual helms
DONT buy ebay parts buy oem Honda if you rebuilding
and buy quality parts that you can afford.

What manual would you recommend that I get? I'm only interested in rebuilding B series engines atm. This is the one I was looking at
How to Rebuild Honda B-Series Engines: Amazon.ca: Jason Siu: Books How to Rebuild Honda B-Series Engines: Amazon.ca: Jason Siu: Books
.

Btw do you have any tips for learning about engine swaps? Thanks for the help.

no
the actual service manual by Honda
http://www.helminc.com/helm/welcome_...asp?Style=helm
is not that expensive anymore

engine swap info theres shitload of engine swap info online

you need to learn how to find answers first.

try typing in google "Honda engine swap info"

you search and if you don't find what you looking for try different keywords.
